As a marketing intern for the University of Nebraska Foundation (UNF), I created marketing materials to highlight donor impact. I incorporated the organization's mission to support the College of Engineering at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. This presentation offers a glimpse of the deliverables that encourage giving from donors, which were implemented in fall 2023. An exploration of each one is provided below.
I analyzed websites of other BIG10 universities alongside relevant studies to discern the content that effectively encourages giving. This process allows me to identify the messages that resonate with donors and determine the most relevant content tailored to the organization's goals.
The brochure highlights opportunities available for donors to support and provide guidance on how to make a gift. Readers learn about the diverse range of programs and research projects that benefit from their generous contributions, empowering them to make informed decisions about where to direct their support.
I designed note cards that integrate snippets of ongoing research within the college to offer a glimpse into the innovative work conducted. These cards are customizable, allowing for personalization based on donors' interests, ensuring that each interaction resonates with their priorities.
This piece showcases the impact of students and their active involvement within the college. Utilizing statistics, I illustrate the specific areas where donor gifts can make a tangible and positive difference in the lives of engineering students. It incorporates research to highlight the transformative power of philanthropy.
